How & Where To Submit IGNOU Scanned Copy of Handwritten Assignments Complete Details

Indira Gandhi National Open University (Ignou) will now accept scanned copies of assignments via email due to COVID-19 Lockdown so students do not visit at study Centre. Learners can submit scanned copies of handwritten assignments through email to the respective RC (Regional Centre) email,” As per IGNOU CIRCULAR Dated 30.03.2020 (See Circular). The regional centres will accept scanned copies of handwritten assignments through a dedicated email i-d and take care of the evaluation process.

The Last Date for submission of Ignou Solved Assignments is 30th April, 2020 both Online via Email & at Study Centre (Hard Copy), It may be extend but not confirmed, don’t wait for last date, submit your handwritten assignment today to avoid last date rush/or any kind of problems.

Guidelines Steps by Steps to Make & Submit the Assignments Online

Distance learner of Ignou university who want to submit the solved assignment (TMA) are requested to write the assignment as per the guidelines. The assignment should not be computer typed format it should be hand made/ hand written assignment completed. Now, scan the handwritten assignment in pdf format. Submit it to the given email address. The Email ID id can be different for each regional centre Online Assignment Submission. Below you can find email address of regional centrs.-

Step 1: Write your assignment as per IGNOU guidelines (A4 Sheet, Use Back and Blue Pen etc.)

Step 2: Scan the handwritten assignment in Pdf form

(a) Scan handwritten assignment only and PDF file only for each assignment (Course-Wise)

(b) File Name should consist of Enrollment number_Course Code. (example 123456789_FST1)

(c) You may scan the assignment pages and save it as .pdf file.

(d) For each Course Assignment only one single file.

(e) Maximum Size is 20 MB only for one assignment.

(f) The *first page of the pdf* of each Course must also carry the learner’s correct details
as per point no. 03 below

Step 3: E-Mail the scanned copy to the given address. The email must carry the following details of the sender.

(a) Name of the learner:
(b) Enrollment number:
(c) Regional Centre Code:
(d) Study Centre Code:
(e) Programme Code:
(f) Course Code(s) of attached assignments:
(g) Mobile number:
(h) Email ID:

IMPORTANT NOTE :- Do not submit the Scan copy of Assignment if you already submit the Hard copy at Your Study Center.
