Online Understanding Dual Enrolment & Part Admission in NIOS – A Smart Way to Upgrade Your Skills
NIOS provides a golden opportunity for learners currently enrolled in regular schools or those who have already passed their Secondary/Senior Secondary from a recognized board to update or upgrade their knowledge under its Dual Enrolment or Part Admission scheme.
Learners can choose up to four subjects of their choice. This flexible option is ideal for skill development, exam improvement, or pursuing a subject of interest. However, only a Marksheet is issued—no certificate is provided under this scheme.
As per NIOS rules, the fee for Dual Enrolment in Stream-1 includes a registration fee (Rs. 620), course material fee (Rs. 470 for Secondary / Rs. 520 for Senior Secondary), and TOC fee of Rs. 230 per subject (if applicable). Each subject also costs Rs. 940, and Rs. 70 per transaction is added for online payments.
